The Premier League has approved the use of five subs and 20-man squads for Project Restart, in a vote at Thursday’s videoconference.
The latest meeting is discussing more of the logistics related to the return, and has followed the Bundesliga example in allowing the greater use of squads. This is due to potential fitness issues from the extended break.
