DAVAO, Philippines — President Rodrigo Duterte personally visited one of the three Chinese warships docked in Davao City for a three-day goodwill visit.
Chinese ambassador to the Philippines Zhao Jin-hua and high-ranking Chinese navy officials were present to welcome the President.
President Duterte was briefed and shown firearms, missiles and the torpedo storage area of Chanc Chun, a Chinese guided missile destroyer.
Before the President’s ship tour, several Davao City residents were given the chance to enter one of the warships.
However, the Chinese crew advised the visitors that taking photos and videos inside the warship is prohibited. — Victor Cosare | UNTV News & Rescue
