Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in the Philippines on June 3 to meet with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., Philippine News Agency reported.

The meeting between Zelenskyy and Marcos Jr. was scheduled for 8:00 a.m. local time (3:00 a.m. Kyiv time) at the Malacañang Palace, the President’s residence, Presidential Communications Office reported, the publication wrote.

They did not include the details of what would be discussed.

The visit follows the two leaders participating in the 21st International Institute for Strategic Studies Shangri-La Dialogue (an annual Asian Security Summit on Pacific region issues) in Singapore.
