Last chance on this Prime Day TV deal: Amazon Omni Fire TVs are on sale at better-than-Black-Friday prices
Good news: For the last few hours of Prime Day, Amazon is heavily discounting its Fire TV Omni Series, with savings up to $350 on models ranging from 43 to 75 inches.

Yup, industry analysts were right when they said the glut of stock across retailers would yield super-deep discounts. Kristin McGrath, savings expert for RetailMeNot, told Yahoo Life, to look for "up to 50% off Fire TVs and more during Prime Day sales." Some of the prices are actually better than on Black Friday!
Now that the clock is running down, though, it's time to make a move!

One of the real standouts here is the 55-inch model. It's not the biggest discount in the bunch (that honor goes to the 75-inch model), but it's arguably the best overall deal. A 55-inch TV of this quality for $310 is definitely noteworthy.
Here's the rest of the Omni Series lineup:

The Omni Series is superior to Amazon's less-expensive 4 Series for a few reasons, not the least of which is the integrated hands-free Alexa voice assistant. That means you can say things like, "Alexa, turn on the TV," or "Alexa, go to Netflix," without having to lay a finger on the remote. Doesn't sound like a big deal, but trust me when I say it quickly starts to become indispensable.
What's more, you can plug in a compatible webcam to enjoy big-screen Zoom calls. (Find out what happened when I tried out this feature.)
The 65- and 75-inch models add Dolby Vision to the mix, a technology that promises a more "cinematic" experience. (That's code for "even better picture.")
My take: If your budget allows, splurge on one of those. It pays to go big, whether you're settling in for a summer of baseball or the final episodes of Better Call Saul.
