The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are reportedly weighing their options around Princess Charlotte's return to school.

The whole family—Kate, Will, George, Charlotte, and Louis—is currently staying at Anmer Hall, their country home in Norfolk. But George and Charlotte's school, Thomas's Battersea, is back in London—and reportedly planning on a partial reopening, which, per government recommendations, will likely only welcome back children in reception (a kindergarten equivalent), year one, and year six. Parents will know for sure which grades will return when the school makes a final decision this week.

Charlotte is currently in reception, so she would be able to return to the classroom; George, however, is in year two, and would have to remain at home. According to the Times, Will and Kate would prefer to keep the kids together, even if it means having Charlotte stay home, too.

If both children are able to attend school, though, they likely will. The publication also reports that Thomas's is planning to welcome back one more grade before the end of the school year, but it's yet to be confirmed which grade that would be.

Kate has been open about the challenges of homeschooling and parenting while keeping up with her royal duties. "The children have got such stamina," Kate said during a BBC interview. "You pitch a tent, take the tent down again, cook, bake. You get to the end of the day—they've had a lovely time, but it's amazing how much you can cram into a day, that's for sure."

More recently, speaking on the U.K.'s This Morning television show, the Duchess revealed that George "gets very upset because he just wants to do all of Charlotte’s projects. Spider sandwiches are far cooler than literacy work!"
