Having recently dismissed all of his and Meghan's Buckingham Palace staff (suggesting that the couple may not return to the UK after all), Prince Harry is making big changes since stepping away from his senior royal duties. One thing that he hasn't given up, however, is his involvement with the Invictus Games – a sporting competition for injured servicemen and women.

In a new Instagram post, promoting an upcoming charity single for the games, the official @SussexRoyal account (which may soon have to change its name) uploaded a fictional text message conversation between Harry and Jon Bon Jovi. Yep, you read that correctly – Jon Bon Jovi, who will be doing vocals on the new track.

Within their make-believe conversation, Prince Harry makes some serious dodgy puns (which we're sure if he were older, would leave baby Archie eye-rolling and shouting "DAD! STOP EMBARRASSING ME ON THE INTERNET!").

When Jon Bon Jovi's initial faux messages whizzes on to the screen saying "Hey Harry, how's it going?", fictional Harry responds with "Hey! I'm good, just livin' on a prayer... What's up?". For anybody not quite old enough to remember the 80s rocker, he fronted the band Bon Jovi, whose biggest single was called Livin' On A Prayer. The pair also discuss Harry doing back up vocals on the track (something we would love to hear).

The same animation was shared over on the official Invictus Games' Instagram account (@weareinvictusgames), with a caption explaining that Prince Harry would in fact be joining the rocker in the legendary Abbey Road Studios next week for a recording session... So, all jokes aside, might this mean that Harry's new career path might involve the entertainment industry?

In full, the caption reads: We are super excited that Jon @BonJovi will be joined by our Patron The Duke of Sussex (@sussexroyal) at @AbbeyRoadStudios next week, as Jon and the #InvictusGames Choir record a charity single in aid of @WeAreInvictusGames!‬

Petition for Harry and Stormzy (who has deleted all his social media accounts) to collaborate next please?
