Prince Harry has landed in Canada to be united with Meghan and baby Archie. The family have been apart for 10 days while Harry met with the royal family to discuss plans going forward.

The prince arrived in Vancouver this morning, 21 January, before travelling to Victoria International Airport on Vancouver Island to meet his wife and eight-month-old child. Meghan has been staying on Canada's West Coast since early January after a brief visit to the UK to carry out an official engagement. The family spent six weeks over Christmas there too, which they spent with friends and family.

Harry and Meghan have dropped their HRH titles and will no longer carry out royal duties or military appointments and no longer formally represent the Queen. The young family will now divide their time between Canada and the UK.

In a moving speech this weekend, Harry said that he was left with "no other option" but to make the dramatic decision to step away from his royal duties as he sought to protect his wife from relentless scrutiny and bullying from the press.

After what were said to be 'crisis talks', the Queen has given her grandson her blessing to choose his own path. Talking via a public statement, she said: "Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much-loved members of my family", adding that she was "particularly proud of the way Meghan has so quickly become one of the family".
