Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Son Archie Is a "Happy Baby," and Already Teething

From Town & Country

As Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor approaches his first birthday (May 6, mark your calendars), he's living the good life in sunny California.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's son is living in L.A. with his parents, and all three are self-isolating amid the coronavirus pandemic. "Like everyone, [the Sussexes] are adjusting to [social distancing], being cautious and safe," a friend of the Sussexes' told People.

But Archie isn't aware of that, and presumably just enjoying some family time in SoCal. He's "teething and is a happy baby. I’m sure he is happy to be in the California sunshine," the source said, adding that Archie is "cute" (duh).

Archie is apparently quite a fan of weather in general, as Prince Harry previously disclosed that the first time he saw snow in Canada, the little royal thought it was "bloody brilliant!"

It's not clear how long Archie (and his parents) will be enjoying the warm SoCal climate. The Duke and Duchess are in a period of transition, having officially stepped back as senior royals on April 1. They've kept their plans for the future largely under wraps, except to note that they'll be launching a non-profit at some point.

As a spokesperson for the couple said earlier this week, "The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will spend the next few months focusing on their family and continuing to do what they can, safely and privately, to support and work with their pre-existing charitable commitments while developing their future non-profit organization."
