Prince William and Kate Middleton Dazzle in Black & White at the ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ Premiere

Prince William and Kate Middleton are dressed to the nines for their latest joint outing.

Today, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the U.K. premiere of Top Gun: Maverick, which took place at Leicester Square Gardens.

For the event, Middleton wore a gorgeous black floor-length gown, which featured a white off-the-shoulder detail. She accessorized with heels, dangly earrings and a clutch bag. The royal parted her hair down the middle and styled it in a sleek straight ’do. On the other hand, Prince William opted for a classic black suit with a bowtie.

Top Gun: Maverick follows Pete “Maverick” Mitchell (Tom Cruise), who has served more than 30 years as the Navy’s top aviator. He has not changed one bit, always taking risks and pushing the boundaries as a fearless test pilot. After Mitchell is assigned to train a group of Top Gun graduates for a special mission, he must confront the demons from his past and face his darkest fears.

The appearance comes just one day after Middleton wore a head-to-toe coral ensemble to a garden party at Buckingham Palace. The Duchess of Cambridge rocked a coral dress by Emilia Wickstead, which featured long sleeves, a collar and a belted waist. She also wore simple accessories, including sparkly drop earrings and coordinating heels. If her matching fascinator looked familiar, that’s probably because Middleton previously sported the headpiece to Trooping the Colour in 2017.

Fingers crossed their three children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis—are behaving for the babysitter.
