The Platinum Jubilee weekend might have been all about the Queen, but it was one other royal who repeatedly had our attention. Cue Prince Louis, whose face-pulling and toddler cheeky shenanigans well and truly stole the limelight on more than one occasion during the four-day festivities.

To recap, the youngest Cambridge child kicked off his weekend of attention-grabbing during Thursday's Trooping the Colour ceremony, with his facial expressions leaving very little to the imagination. Fast forward to Sunday and not much had changed, as Prince Louis practically ran rings around his mum, Kate Middleton, during the Jubilee Pageant – put it this way, he'd defo be given a time out on the naughty step if Jo Frost's Supernanny were around.

Yet, despite how darn hilarious Prince Louis was for us to watch from the comfort of our own homes, many people couldn't help but wonder how his parents were coping with so much focus on the little royal. "You know who doesn’t judge others for their parenting? Those of us who know how hard it is", one person wrote on Twitter in response to how Kate handled Louis' shenanigans at the Pageant. "Huge respect for Kate and William for parenting under a magnifying glass", a second person added to the conversation.

Thankfully, it seems Kate and William have taken it all in their stride, even making a joke about Prince Louis' behaviour in a very relatable Instagram post. Alongside a series of unseen, behind-the-scenes snaps from the Jubilee weekend, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge said: "What a fantastic weekend of celebrations. Seeing people across the nation coming together with family, friends and loved ones has been extremely special."

They continued, "Thank you to everyone who turned out to show their gratitude to The Queen and her inspiring 70 years of leadership. From the crowds on the Mall to communities hosting street parties up and down the country, we hope you had a weekend to remember."

At the end of the post, the couple made a nod towards their son, adding: "We all had an incredible time, especially Louis… 👀".

The Cambridge's joke at the situation did not go unnoticed by royal fans, who flocked to the comments section to show their appreciation for the couple's light-hearted reaction. "'Especially Louis' 😂😂😂 I love his personality", one fan commented on the post, with another saying, "Louis is an absolute mood."

We love you Louis!
