Prince William wades in NY waters for oyster project

STORY: The aim of the project is to restore oyster reefs due to their environmental benefits, which include housing various marine species, filtering water and shielding waterways from potential storm damage.

Founded in 2014, the Billion Oyster Project has introduced 122 million oysters into the New York Harbor thanks to the efforts of 11,000 students.

The British heir to the throne was in the U.S. last November to kick off the Earthshot Prize, his annual environmental prize program.
