Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank Shared the Most Adorable Pregnancy Announcement on Instagram
Royal fans are all abuzz today over the exciting news that another royal baby is on the way. This morning, Buckingham Palace officially confirmed that Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank are expecting their first child. And while many of the royals eschew social media, Instagram aficionado Eugenie also crafted a sweet post of her own to share the happy news with her fans.

In her announcement, Eugenie shared two photos—one of she and Jack smiling in the sunshine, and another of their hands together, holding a pair of fuzzy baby shoes with teddy bear faces. "Jack and I are so excited for early 2021," she wrote in the caption, along with a baby face emoji.
The slippers in the photo of their hands (which also happens to show off her beautiful padparadscha sapphire, diamond, and Welsh gold engagement ring) hail from British brand John Lewis & Partners, though, sadly, they don't appear to ship to the U.S.
While the royal couple has yet to reveal an official due date, but the Buckingham Palace announcement and Eugenie's own hinted that the next member of the royal family would be making an appearance in early 2021. Whether that means the new addition is expected in the winter or spring isn't yet clear, but it would certainly be a cute coincidence if it follows its cousin Archie's spring trend—after all, Eugenie and Jack married at St. George’s Chapel in 2018, the same venue and year that Archie's parents Prince Harry and Meghan Markle also had their famous royal wedding.
