We're living in uncertain times, but amongst the doom and gloom, there are little pockets of joy to be found – plenty of people are using the coronavirus pandemic as an opportunity to give back and connect to wider society. The royals are no exception (Meghan and Harry even dedicated a lengthy statement to how it's a chance to treat people with more kindness). Princess Eugenie, the younger sister of Beatrice, whose wedding plans have changed due to the COVID-19 outbreak,

Eugenie, who it would appear is social distancing in the Royal Lodge, with her mother, Sarah Ferguson, is also clearly keen to roll up her sleeves, as new photos show her beaming and holding up a box of supplies. More specifically, of Labertz pastries, which it's believed were then donated to NHS frontliners.

Hermann Bühlbecker, the main behind the confectionary company, shared the series of photos on his Instagram page, along with the caption:

"A few days ago Fergie, Duchess of York, and her daughter received a large delivery of Lambertz pastries (over 100 kg) at the Royal Lodge.

This is intended for the doctors and staff of London hospitals, who are currently working up to their limits. The Duchess called us about this; she sent us the pictures when the shipment arrived."

It's no surprise that the princess is so passionate about doing her part during these uncertain times, especially given that her uncle, Prince Charles, has tested positive for coronavirus.

We all know that a little goes a long way right now, so well done to Eugenie and Sarah for the sweet gesture.
