Priyanka Chopra Announces Her Engagement to Nick Jonas on Instagram
It's truly, absolutely happening: Priyanka Chopra has just made her engagement and relationship to Nick Jonas permanent-grid Instagram official. "Taken.. With all my heart and soul.." she wrote today, posting a photo of the two in formal attire. It's unclear when the shot was taken, but Jonas and his family arrived in Mumbai yesterday for what's been reported to be the traditional engagement ceremony for Chopra and Jonas.

The engagement ceremony is an Indian pre-wedding tradition where the bride- and groom-to-be formally exchange rings-thus become in engaged-in front of both their families. The families exchange gifts. Chopra's family insisted on hosting the Jonas family for this, a source told E!.
E! also reported earlier this week that Chopra and Jonas plan on getting married sooner rather than later. "Priyanka wants everything to be traditional to respect her family's values, and definitely an Indian wedding," the source said. "Priyanka and Nick are excited for everyone to meet and to celebrate [this weekend]....All of the plans are moving quickly and Priyanka and Nick do not want to have a long engagement."
