Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas just made their first official red carpet appearance of the year (other than the Ambani wedding!), showing up at the premiere of The Good Half in Los Angeles on August 13. And we need to discuss Priyanka's look—an off-the-shoulder transparent gown with a waist-high slit, paired with a lace camisole and black underwear.

According to Tribeca Film Festival's description, The Good Half stars Nick Jonas as Renn, "an emotionally distant writer who returns to his hometown of Cleveland for his beloved mother’s funeral, after having spent years successfully avoiding interactions with his high-strung sister (Brittany Snow), bumbling but well-meaning father (Matt Walsh), and untrustworthy step-father (David Arquette). While in town, he forges a new relationship with a charming, energetic stranger (Alexandra Shipp) who pushes him to realize that he can’t avoid conflict forever — with his family or within himself."
Nick spoke to People on the red carpet, saying his daughter Malti had a huge impact on him taking the role of Renn: "I think that, for me, becoming a parent changed everything in my life and my perspective on everything," the actor/singer said. "That's a natural thing obviously that will happen. My daughter is the light of my world, and making projects that I'll be able to watch one day with her, absolutely a goal. And this movie for sure is one of those."
