4 Aug – While most local producers are unwilling to take any risk screening their movies in cinemas right now, for fear of not being able to make the targeted box office collection due to the strict social distancing protocols currently enforced in Malaysian cinemas, "Roh" producer Kuman Pictures is taking things a different way.

As posted on Kuman Pictures' social media, it is offering something that has not been done by other local producers, which is a money-back guarantee for the upcoming film.

"Watch the film "Roh" (#filemROH) on the opening day (6 August) at any cinema. If you're satisfied with it, spread the love!

"If you're not, we will return your money. Post the tickets (maximum 4) and your bank details to Kuman Pictures Sdn Bhd, Suite #109, MBE Taman Desa, 57A Faber Plaza, Jalan Desa Bakti, Taman Desa, 68100 Kuala Lumpur.

"We will bank-in to your account."

However, the money-back guarantee only applies for 6 August tickets and Kuman Pictures must receive the tickets the latest by 20 August.

This is not Kuman Pictures' first time promising a money-back guarantee for its film. It previously used the same method when promoting its first movie, "Two Sisters".
