The PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards is expanding to new markets in 2017 to include Mongolia, Sri Lanka, Laos, India and the Maldives.
In fact, the annual grand finale, which will be held in Singapore on 7 and 8 November, will also feature Hong Kong, China and Macau categories.
In addition, this year’s event will include new regional categories, namely Best Mixed-Use Development (Asia) and Best Universal Design Development (Asia).
With this, the grand finale ceremony will see two Developer, seven Design and eight Development categories.
First launched by Ensign Media in Thailand in 2005, the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards holds annual gala dinner events in the Philippines, Cambodia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Indonesia and Malaysia.
The 12-year event has a reputation in the Asian real estate industry for being fair, credible and transparent.
“For more than a decade we’ve had incredible support from various developers, who have been instrumental in the growth of the property sector,” said Terry Blackburn, Founder and Managing Director of the Awards.
“Our expanded awards scheme is a tribute to the strength of the Asian real estate industry. Fair judgement and transparency of process are at the heart of the Awards and we’re delighted to introduce the awards system to Asia’s rapidly growing property markets.”
The two gala events on 7 and 8 November will each begin with an international networking cocktail reception, followed by the opening remarks and speeches, four-course dinner and the awards ceremony. The first night will focus on the Singapore categories, with the second night on new markets and the regional competition.
