Prudential Singapore’s digital innovation programme is open for applications again
Insurer Prudential Singapore has opened applications for PRU Fintegrate Partnership 2018, the second edition of its digital innovation programme.
Applicants are invited to offer solutions for 10 identified business challenges, which range from preventative healthcare, enterprise solutions, customer engagement and underwriting – key areas that Prudential is developing internally to prepare for the digital future, according to Wilf Blackburn, CEO of Prudential Singapore.
“PRU Fintegrate is about charting the future of insurance. This means creating truly great customer experiences, working smarter and complementing the efforts of our financial consultants to provide customers with valuable advice and solutions in meeting their changing needs,” said Blackburn.

For this year’s programme, companies are encouraged to team up to provide and design comprehensive solutions for the 10 challenges. There is also an open challenge category for participants with solutions that fall outside of the 10 challenges.
The programme is open to scale-ups, or companies that already have a working business model and are looking to grow their business further. Applicants will be selected based on their existing track record of creating solutions that can be scaled up quickly, and whether they have a valid product set, an existing customer base, and secured funding.
Successful applicants will partner with Prudential’s team of experts who will help them enhance their value proposition and develop their proof-of-concept. Selected finalists will then have the opportunity to showcase their solutions at the Singapore FinTech Festival 2018, which runs from 12 to 16 November. These partners will start a fully-paid pilot programme of their solutions in 2019.
PRU Fintegrate was first launched in 2017 as part of Prudential’s vision to build an ecosystem of partners from the FinTech, InsurTech, HealthTech and MedTech communities, who can collectively help provide creative solutions for its business challenges.
Applications close on Sept 16, 2018.
