PSG's Emery knows how to cause us problems, says Barca coach

PARIS (Reuters) - Paris St Germain coach Unai Emery will count on past experience to make life difficult for Barcelona when the two teams meet at the Parc des Princes for their Champions League last-16 first leg on Tuesday, Barca coach Luis Enrique said. Barca knocked PSG out of the quarter-finals in 2013 and 2015, but Luis Enrique warned that the French champions are now "more structured". "We have good memories from this pitch, from this team but it was never easy," he told a news conference on Monday. Barca advanced on the away goals rule in 2013 and beat PSG 3-1 and 2-0 two years ago. However, the French side are now guided by Spaniard Emery, who knows Barca very well from his days of coaching Valencia (2008-12) and Sevilla (2013-2016). "Knowing Unai, I know he will try to make our life complicated," said Luis Enrique. "He knows us perfectly, he knows exactly what we have to offer. "Our goal will be to keep the ball and create space because they will be taking risks," he added. "They are now more thorough than they used to be and they are more structured, and they also have great forwards". While Barca can count on their magic trio of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar, PSG will rely on Uruguay striker Edinson Cavani, who is in the form of his life having scored 25 league goals this season.
