MANILA – Serious charges now face Supt. Christina Nobleza and Abu Sayyaf member Reenor Lou Dongon in accordance with President Rodrigo Duterte’s order.
Police Director General Ronald dela Rosa has also directed the PNP Internal Affairs Service to fast-track charging administrative cases for Nobleza to be dismissed from service.
“Filed na po ang case sa Clarin, illegal possession of firearms, disobedience in persons of authority yan po (Cases have been filed in Clarin such as illegal possession of firearms and disobedience in persons of authority),” PNP PIO Chief PCSupt. Dionardo Carlos said.
The PNP had the two undergo tactical interrogation to determine whether there are other individuals working with them.
“They are still undergoing TI (tactical interrogation). We cannot indicate the exact location, but they are safe inside Camp Crame,” said Carlos.
The police are now investigating how the two came to have a relationship.
“Our investigators are really looking into all the details. Medyo mahaba habang pagbabalik dahil nga dun sa point at their first meeting at probably other activities nila prior to that, yun ang ating inaalam (Our investigators are really looking into all the details. It’s a long investigation into the past because of the point of their first meeting and probably other activities. That’s what we are finding out),” Carlos added.
