Ludhiana (Punjab), Sep 22 (ANI): Punjab Administration is taking essential steps to counter the problem of stubble burning. While talking to ANI, Varinder Kumar Sharma, Deputy Commissioner of Ludhiana said, “The government has already taken several steps to tackle the problem of stubble burning. In the last 3 years more than 4,000 machines were given to farmer groups and this year also we have given 489 machines. There will be a complete ban on stubble burning from 1st October to 30th November”.
