Queensway Shopping Centre and a mosque among new places visited by COVID-19 cases
SINGAPORE — A mosque and a mall were among five new public places recently visited by COVID-19 cases in the community, the Ministry of Health (MOH) reported on Monday (27 July).
They are Masjid Assyakirin at 550 Yung An Road, Queensway Shopping Centre, Din Tai Fung restaurant at Northpoint City, Sri Murugan Vilas at 50 Clive Street and Kampung Admiralty Hawker Centre at 676 Woodlands Drive 71.
The dates visited by these cases were from 13 July to 24 July.
“There is no need to avoid places where confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been. The National Environment Agency will engage the management of affected premises to provide guidance on cleaning and disinfection,” the MOH added.
The list – which excludes residences, workplaces, healthcare facilities, and public transport – will be updated on a rolling 14-day basis or one incubation period. First published on 25 May, the list compiles places visited by infectious cases in the community for over 30 minutes.
On the same day, the MOH confirmed 469 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total to 50,838.
