A quick tour of SWITCH Singapore 2017, in tweets
This year’s SWITCH (Singapore Week of Innovation & TeCHnology) wants to bring deep tech development in the country up a notch
This year’s SWITCH (Singapore Week of Innovation & TeCHnology) has only just begun, and it already looks set to be one of the year’s most exciting conferences.
The event kicked off with Minister Heng Swee Keat announcing several new deep tech initiatives, which will no doubt grease the wheels for development in related fields, such as AI; and hopefully, transform Singapore into a deep tech hub, not only regionally, but globally.
Right after Heng concluded his speech, the packed hall was treated to a elaborate, kaleidoscopic video introduction, which you can view below:
But the conference was not all about gimmicks and fluff, as impressive as they may have been (the colourful lights and electronic music) certainly gave the conference an almost rave-like atmosphere; there was a lot of solid content being delivered by deep tech experts.
So here’s a quick tour of the first day of SWITCH Singapore 2017, in tweets.
