Rachel Riley has announced the arrival of a new baby girl - daughter Noa.

The Countdown star – who welcomed daughter Maven with Strictly Come Dancing pro husband Pasha Kovalev in December 2019 – revealed her second daughter had arrived on Bonfire Night, 15 days after her due date.

Riley, 35, announced on Instagram: "Introducing Pasha’s newest dance partner - baby Noa was finally born, 15 days after her due date, late on Friday night to the sound of fireworks!

"She’s totally adorable and her big sister Maven has already tried welcoming her to the world by offering Oatly and pickles, we think that’s a good sign.

Daughter Maven Aria Riley Kovaleva was born in December 2019 weighing 7lbs 4.

Riley announced in April she was expecting her second child with a special Countdown Conundrum spelling 'FITTRILEY.

She added: "And your clue is... Riley had this to thank for the reason her clothes no longer fit her... And it’ll only get worse till Autumn!"

The letters rearranged spell out the word "fertility".

Riley revealed their first child was on the way with a Countdown conundrum on Instagram spelling out “R TINY MATE”.

She is currently on maternity leave from the Channel 4 teatime gameshow, amid rumours of a rift between her and new host Anne Robinson.

Kovalev, 41, and Riley met during the 2013 series of Strictly Come Dancing, where they were partnered together.

The couple married in Las Vegas in June 2019 a month after announcing they were expecting their first child together.

Riley was married to Jamie Gilbert at the time she started training for Strictly but split with him in November 2013, and later went on to date Kovalev after the show came to an end.
