"Raikan Bintang" at Anugerah Skrin 2015
This year's Anugerah Skrin 2015 (ASK 2015) has picked "Raikan Bintang" ("Celebrate the Stars") as the concept for the award show that indeed celebrates the nation's talents and arts connoisseurs.
ASK 2015 is set to take place on 8 November at Dewan Merdeka, Pusat Dagangan Dunia Putra (PWTC). Popular singers Awie and Fara Fauzana have been honoured with the task of hosting the prestigious event this year.
Meanwhile, the red carpet event will be hosted by Hani Hatim, Muadz and Ain Edruce.
Group general manager of TV3 and TV9, Sherina Nordin, said this year's award show will bring something different to the table as the top five nominees will not be announced ahead of time and will only be revealed on the night of the event itself.

"We want to add an element of surprise for ASK 2015, hence, the reason for not announcing the top five nominees.
"Apart from that, we are also introducing a new category, Best Drama Editor, to honour the visual editors," said Sherina during the ASK 2015 press conference held recently at The Royale Chulan, KL.
ASK 2015 will have a total of 31 categories including 12 drama categories, seven film categories, six production categories and six technical categories.
For the drama category, 16 dramas, eight drama series, three comedy series and three drama series in social media will be competing.
As for the film category, 25 films will be competing for the awards.
