Ram Mandir: First Phase Of Construction Complete, Darshan Of Lord Ram In Garbhagriha From Dec 2023

Champat Rai, general secretary of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, has revealed that the first phase of the foundation work of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is completed.

The second phase of construction will be completed by mid-November.

Rai further informed that devotees will have the ‘darshan’ of Shri Ram in the ‘garbhagriha’ from December 2023.

The Mandir is set to be 360 feet long, 235 feet wide and 161 feet high, News18 reports. Multinational conglomerate Larson & Toubro (L&T) is conducting the construction work of the same.

Modern techniques were used to lay the foundation of the Bhavya Ram Mandir to ensure that it remains preserved for over 1,500 years.

The ‘Ramlala’ murthi will be established in the ‘garbhagriha’ towards the end of 2023. The entire process of laying the foundation is being rounded up in about 20 layers.

“The construction work of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir is continuing at a fast pace. Devotees will be able to have darshans of Bhagwan in the Garbha Gruha from December 2023. First phase of foundation work is over, while second phase will be over by Mid November,” the official Twitter handle of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust confirmed.
