Pune (Maharashtra), Aug 24 (ANI): Maharashtra Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Chandrakant Patil on August 24 stated that he doesn’t support Union Minister Narayan Rane’s remarks against Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray but questioned the state government about leaders who comment against Governor, a constitutional functionary. “I don't support Narayan Rane's statement. But if he's arrested or arrest warrant is issued against him for remarks against CM, what's happening to their leaders who comment against Governor, a constitutional functionary, almost daily,” said Patil. Union Minister Rane said that he would have slapped Maharashtra CM for ‘forgetting the number of years of India’s Independence.
