Ratings: ‘Station 19’-‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Crossover Dominates Thursday

With their powers combined, Thursday’s “Station 19”-“Grey’s Anatomy” crossover handed ABC an outright victory in primetime, according to Nielsen.

Fox finished second in the key 18-49 demographic last night when it debuted new Jason Biggs sitcom “Outmatched” following Tim Allen’s “Last Man Standing.”

ABC was first in ratings with a 1.1 rating/6 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 5.9 million, according to preliminary numbers. “Station 19” at 8 p.m. posted a 1.2/6 rating and 7 million viewers. At 9, “Grey’s Anatomy” landed a 1.4/7 and 6.6 million viewers. “A Million Little Things” at 10 received a 0.8/4 and 4.2 million viewers.

Fox was second in ratings with a 0.6/3 and third in viewers with 3.5 million. “Last Man Standing” at 8 had 0.8/4 and 4.4 million viewers. At 8:30, “Outmatched” premiered to a 0.7/3 and 3.2 million viewers. “Deputy” at 9 received a 0.5/3 and 3.2 million viewers.

CBS, NBC and Univision all tied for third in ratings, both with a 0.5. CBS and NBC had 2 shares, Univision got a 3. CBS was second in total viewers with 3.8 million viewers, NBC was fourth with 2.2 million and Univision was fifth with 1.6 million.

For CBS, following reruns “The Gayle King Grammy Special” at 10 had a 0.3/2 and 2.6 million viewers.

For NBC, “Superstore” at 8 got a 0.7/4 and 2.7 million viewers. At 8:30, “The Good Place” received a 0.6/3 and 2.1 million viewers. “Will & Grace” at 9 had a 0.5/2 and 2.3 million viewers. The “Perfect Harmony” season finale at 9:30 closed the comedy block with a 0.3/2 and 1.4 million viewers. A repeat followed.

Telemundo was sixth in ratings with a 0.4/2 and in viewers with 1.2 million.

The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.2/1 and in viewers with 867,000. “Supernatural” at 8 had a 0.2/1 and 1 million viewers. At 9, “Legacies” got a 0.2/1 and 718,000 viewers.
