Gamers can enjoy a "Fortnite" session on the new Razer Blade laptop

American gaming PC and peripherals specialist Razer has unveiled its latest portable powerhouse billed as the world's smallest 15.6-inch gaming laptop, promising speed and performance.

The new Razer Blade 15.6-inch gaming laptop comes in versions with HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) or 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels) displays. In both cases, the screen gets a high refresh rate to keep fast-action graphics smooth and fluid.

This ultra-fast and ultra-powerful laptop series uses Intel's latest-generation Core i7 six-core CPUs, with speeds up to 4.1 GHz, as well as NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10-Series graphics cards. This is matched with 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of onboard storage, although each PC can support up to 32GB of RAM and up to 2TB of storage. As for connections, the new Razer Blade has three USB 3.1 ports, one USB-C port and one HDMI out.

The new six-core Razer Blade 15.6-inch gaming laptop is out now in the USA, the UK, France, Germany, Canada and China. Prices start at $1,899.

In fall 2017, Razer launched its first smartphone for gamers. The Razer Phone notably offers a refresh rate of up to 120Hz for displaying up to 120 frames per second, meaning reduced latency and smoother graphics than with any other smartphone -- a real boon for gamers.
