RBI tweaks liquidity measuring rules for Basel III

MUMBAI (Reuters) - The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Wednesday tweaked some rules on measuring liquidity for Basel III norms, including asking banks to exclude certain loans backed by deposits from liquidity coverage ratio calculations.
