Avengers fans in Singapore are in for a treat come April, as some of the “Avengers: Infinity War” cast members will be coming to town.

Robert Downey Jr (Iron Man/Tony Stark), Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Stephen Strange) and Karen Gillan (Nebula from Guardians of the Galaxy) will be in Singapore on 16 April as part of Disney’s Avengers: Infinity War global promotion, together with one half of the Russo brothers, Joe.

The quartet will be here to celebrate the release of Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Infinity War” film, and they will attend a red carpet fan event, Marina Bay Sands said on Wednesday (21 March).

Interestingly, both RDJ and Cumberbatch are also known for their separate portrayals of the fictional detective Sherlock Holmes, while Gillan rose to fame as Amy Pond, a companion to the Eleventh Doctor on Doctor Who.

RDJ was last seen in “Spider-Man: Homecoming”, while Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange had his own film in 2016. Gillan last appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe alongside the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy in James Gunn’s 2017 sequel.

Marvel’s “Avengers: Infinity War” opens in Singapore on April 25.
