Get ready to rock 2020 with kawaii metal band, Babymetal
12 Dec – Suzuka Nakamoto a.k.a. Su-metal and Moa Kikuchi a.k.a. Moametal, or collectively known as Japanese pop-metal duo Babymetal, are coming down to Kuala Lumpur for a one-night only show!
Here are the details for Babymetal's "Metal Galaxy World Tour" in Malaysia:
Date: 27 March 2020 (Friday)
Time: 8pm
Venue: KL Live, Kuala Lumpur
Tickets will go on sale in three phases, each with a different pricing (excluding ticketing fees). Prices start from RM158 (Early Bird), RM178 (Phase 1) and RM208 (Phase 2).
A look at the ticketing site https://www.galactix.asia/babymetalgalaxyinkl, however, shows that currently only Phase 2 tickets are still up for grabs.
The Japanese kawaii metal band was formed in 2010 as a sub-unit of the idol group Sakura Gakuin, before becoming an independent act in 2013.
Among Babymetal's accomplishments are supporting Lady Gaga on the singer's "ArtRave: The Artpop Ball 2014 Tour", becoming the first Japanese artist to ever receive awards from UK music magazines "Kerrang!" and "Metal Hammer", becoming the first Japanese artist to ever headline at Wembley Arena UK, and having the highest-charting Japanese album in the Billboard 200 chart history when their third studio album "Metal Galaxy" went straight to the 13th spot.
