Real Madrid are stepping up preparations at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano as LaLiga returns with two home fixtures first up for Los Blancos.

Zinedine Zidane's side are in action against Eibar on June 14 at 19:30 CET and then host Valencia four days later at 22:00 in their first two matches after the lengthy break due to coronavirus.

With renovation works ongoing at the Santiago Bernabeu, Madrid have been given permission by LaLiga to stage their remaining home games at the 6,000-seater Alfredo Di Stefano.

The stadium, which is based at the Valdebebas training ground, is usually home to the club's youth team, Real Madrid Castilla.

New floodlights are being installed, along with advertising spaces, while the ground is also being equipped with VAR technology.

Six of Madrid's 11 remaining league matches are at home and Los Blancos also hope to be able to use the Alfredo Di Stefano in Europe if they can come back from 2-1 down against Manchester City in their last-16 tie.
