Real Madrid XI vs Real Betis: Confirmed team news, predicted lineup, latest injuries for LaLiga game

Eden Hazard is still missing for Real Madrid as Los Blancos travel to Real Betis for their second match in LaLiga on Saturday.

The Belgian attacker remains short of fitness following an ankle injury and has been left out of the squad for the trip to the Benito Villamarin by coach Zinedine Zidane.

“He doesn’t have any effects from the injury,” Zidane said earlier on Friday in his pre-match press conference.

“The only thing is that he has had very few training sessions with the team and we have to take it little by little.

“He want him, and he also wants it, at 100 per cent.”

Marco Asensio also misses out with a niggling problem, but Isco and Lucas Vazquez are available again and are included on the 22-man list.

Mariano is sidelined, while there is no place for youngsters Marvin or Sergio Arribas after both made their debuts from the bench in the 0-0 draw away to Real Sociedad last weekend.

Martin Odegaard may have to be content with a place on the bench after starting at Anoeta.

Real Madrid lost 2-1 at Betis in their last match prior to lockdown in March, but went on to win LaLiga with 10 wins and a draw after the enforced break.
