Real Ting denies offering spokesperson job to Joey Wang

30 Aug – Former VRF member, Real Ting recently dispelled rumours that he was planning actress Joey Wang's comeback.

According to Wenweipo website, previously, speculations arose when the former "A Chinese Ghost Story" actress, who has been living in Canada and was in hiatus for 11 years, was spotted in Hong Kong.

Among the rumours regarding her return was that the actress was asked by Real Ting to become the spokesperson for a beauty brand. It was said that the modelling stint had to be cancelled due to overwhelming negative responses from several parties.

However, Real Ting has denied the validity of the rumour during his appearance at OSIAO brand event, saying, "I did not contact or invite Joey to be a brand's spokesperson. The brand has already signed another model last year and the advertising campaign has been completed long ago."

Meanwhile, the 46-year-old actress has flown back to Canada earlier this week, crushing yet another speculation about an acting comeback.
