Rebel Wilson know she’s worth more than the number on the scale.

In a Saturday Instagram post, the Pitch Perfect star, 42, posed in a pink one-shoulder bathing suit in front of a pool. The actress, who is vacationing in Turkey’s Cappadocia with her girlfriend Ramona Agruma, wrote a caption addressing how she feels about her body.

“I just noticed I put on 3 kg’s on my holiday. I’m at an amazing all-inclusive resort…I’ve lost all self control,” she began. “But you know what? I can get up tomorrow and go to the gym, and hydrate and eat healthy and love myself. It doesn’t help to be hard on yourself but I know what it’s like to feel guilty and not great after eating too much. But if you’re like me just know YOU are more than just your weight, your weight doesn’t define you, just try your best to be healthy and don’t be so hard on yourself.”

She concluded her post with, “Be the best version of you.”

Wilson’s followers applauded her message of self love. One wrote, “Thank you for those words, still struggling but happy to know I am not the only one. [Trying] my best to love myself this moment.” Another added, “I love you so much and you are so inspiring. I lost 100 pounds and have gained back some weight so I really needed this message. Thank you.”

Agruma also commented on the post, writing, “You are the best baby and the most beautiful girl.”

The Australian actress embarked on a “Year of Health” in 2020, which led to her losing more than 70 pounds. She told Travel + Leisure in December 2021 that she was trying to keep up with her healthier diet, despite needing to travel for work.

“I love the carbs I've been trying to find places that have good proteins and high-quality meats,” she explained at the time.

In April, Wilson spoke to Yahoo Life about the unexpected benefits of her health journey.

“I do feel the best I’ve ever felt,” she said at the time. “It’s not just about how I look on the outside, but kind of how I feel about myself. I do think beauty is in all shapes. There were times when I rocked the red carpet in a size 18, size 20, and you could tell by the pictures, I was really confident and loving myself. But I knew secretly that I was engaging in some unhealthy eating behaviors, and that’s what I wanted to work on. So now, because I am a healthier person, that shines through. A lot of my friends say that even though I was confident before, I have a newfound confidence.”
