Regine Velasquez denies moving to ABS-CBN
30 Nov - Songstress Regine Velasquez has denied rumours that she is moving from GMA to rival network, ABS-CBN.
Speculations of Velasquez's transition from a Kapuso to a Kapamilya was sparked recently by the official Tonight with Boy Abunda Fans Club Twitter account, which said that the singer is bound to move to ABS-CBN soon.
The same tweet also mentioned Jennylyn Mercado, as well as Elmo Magalona – the latter who did sign a contract with ABS-CBN recently.
However, according to Chisms, the singer had since denied the rumours through Instagram, saying, "Thank you. Actually I am not moving. I don't know where that news came from."
Velasquez also revealed that she is extending her contract with GMA-7 for another two years.
