KUALA LUMPUR: Registration for the NST C-Cycle Challenge has been extended to May 6 due the overwhelming response.
Organised by New Straits Times in partnership with Eco World Development Berhad and co-sponsored by Bank Rakyat and Volkswagen, the race will be held on May 21.
The cycling event will be divided into a 160km race and 35km Fun Ride, which will be flagged off from Eco Grandeur (sales gallery) at Persiaran Mokhtar Dahari to Puncak Alam-Simpang Tiga Jeram to Kuala Selangor-Batu Arang and back.
Those who are interested to compete in the four categories under the 160km race – men’s open (18 to 35 years old), women’s open (15 and above), senior men’s open (36 and above) and team open (with a minimum of five cyclists) – are required to pay a RM160 participation fee.
The 35km Fun Ride is open to senior management of corporations (by invitation only) and riders of ages with a RM50 fee.
