Reinier De Ridder Steps Up To Face Aung La N Sang At ‘ONE on TNT IV’

ONE Light Heavyweight World Champion Aung La “The Burmese Python” N Sang was looking forward to his trilogy clash with Vitaly Bigdash at “ONE on TNT IV” this Thursday, 29 April, but plans have changed for the former two-sport ONE World Champion.

Now, the Burmese athlete will take on another former foe and reigning ONE Middleweight World Champion Reinier “The Dutch Knight” De Ridder, who defeated Aung La N Sang for the middleweight strap in October at ONE: INSIDE THE MATRIX.

The change of opponent came after Bigdash tested positive for COVID-19 and had to drop out of the bout for safety reasons.

Aung La N Sang’s ONE Light Heavyweight World Title will still be on the line. That means if “The Dutch Knight” defeats the Myanmar athlete, he’ll have taken both of his straps in a span of eight months.

However, if Aung La N Sang defeats De Ridder, he’ll defend the ONE Light Heavyweight World Championship and could make a case for a rematch at middleweight.

A lot is on the line for both athletes, and mixed martial arts fans won’t want to miss this showdown.

Catch all the action at “ONE on TNT IV” this Thursday, 29 April, at 8:30 a.m. on the ONE Super App and ONE’s YouTube Channel.
