The finale of ONE Championship’s “ONE on TNT” event series capped off an epic April for the organization and martial arts fans around the world.

At “ONE on TNT IV” on Thursday, 29 April, ONE’s reigning middleweight king became a two-division titleholder and the newly minted #5-ranked lightweight contender held down his spot in the rankings.

In the main event, ONE Middleweight World Champion Reinier “The Dutch Knight” de Ridder defeated old foe Aung La “The Burmese Python” N Sang for the latter’s ONE Light Heavyweight World Title.

By doing so, the Dutchman became the first undefeated two-division World Champion in mixed martial arts history.

Despite submitting Aung La N Sang in the first round of their initial encounter in October 2020 – where De Ridder took the ONE Middleweight World Championship from “The Burmese Python” – the Netherlands resident had to stay aggressive to earn this win this time around.

That aggression was enough to earn the unanimous decision and the ONE Light Heavyweight World Championship.

In the co-main event, Ok Rae Yoon met Eddie “The Underground King” Alvarez in a lightweight clash that had World Title implications.

Alvarez was determined to overcome his last outing – a no contest at “ONE on TNT I” three weeks ago – and use this bout as a springboard to get closer to ONE Lightweight World Champion Christian “The Warrior” Lee, but Ok had plans of his own.

The South Korean pummeled Alvarez in round one, flooring the American and then unloading ground-and-pound. “The Underground King” survived, but he would never pull ahead over three rounds, giving Ok the unanimous decision win.
