Suntec Singapore will play host to the Fourth Edition of REITs Symposium 2018 after the success of last year’s event. This year’s event – to be held at Hall 404 – will be bigger and better, bringing together over 30 Real Estate Investment Trusts companies and Exchange Traded Fund issuers. The one-day event is slated for May 19, 2018 from 9 AM-6PM.

This year event is co-organized by ShareInvestor and REIT Association of Singapore (REITAS). Expect to meet with the Chief Executive Officers and Chief Financial Officers of some of the largest REITs and other companies in the country.

Compared to the third edition, REITs Symposium 2018 is poised to be the largest real estate investment trust event, in Singapore, in 2018. The organizers have already opted for much larger floor space, at Suntec in anticipation of a much bigger audience and participants. More than 70% of REITs with operations in Singapore have already confirmed participation.

Key Speakers

The guest speaker at the fourth edition of Singapore’s REITs symposium will be Lee Yi Shyan, the chairman of OUE Hospitality REIT. Other speakers will include Chan Kong Leong of Suntec REIT; Chan Kum Kong (Head of Research and Products of Singapore Exchange); David Kuo, CEO of Motley Fool Singapore and Jill Smith, CEO, Manulife US REIT.

The audience will be provided an opportunity to interact with representatives from Frasers, CapitaLand, OUE, Ascendas as well as ESR REIT and Mapletree among other attendees. Maybank Kim Eng, Nikko Asset Management, and Philip Securities will also attend as partners.
