Ren Quan announces break from acting
19 Mar - Mainland actor Ren Quan recently announced that he has decided to retire from acting.
As reported on Mingpao News, the "Assembly" actor stated that he would like to focus on his business instead of acting.
"I have thought about it for a while and I have made my decision. I decided not to act again," wrote the actor.
Ren Quan, who has been doing all kinds of investment projects for the last two decades, first partnered up with actress Li Bingbing in establishing their first restaurant back in 1997.
He later started a bar called 1969, invested in a television network, a beauty salon, in several studios including his own and also has a share in Huayi.
In 2014, the actor established yet another food joint, a hot pot restaurant to be exact, with Li Bingbing and Huang Xiaoming.
