‘Reply 1997’ has 18 Cameo Appearances in One Night
TtvN’s new hit drama Reply 1997 has been rising in popularity by taking its viewers on nostalgic trip back to the 90’s as well as the surprise cameo appearances made by stars.
On August 21, Reply 1997 really outdid itself and invited 18 celebrity guests to make special appearances for episode nine and ten.
Just a few of the 18 cameos include A Pink’s Cho Rong and Bo Mi, Noel’s Kang Gyun Sung, comedians Ahn Young Mi, Kang Yu Mi, Yoon Hyung Bin, Yang Se Hyung, announcer Park Ji Yoon, and Jewelry’s Kim Ye Won.
Some of the most noted appearances of the night were of A Pink′s Chorong and Kang Gyun Sung, who played the younger selves of Sung Si Won (A Pink’s Eun Ji)’s parents, as well as Ahn Young Mi and Kang Yu Mi, who acted as the presidents of H.O.T and Sechs Kies in a battle of the fanclubs.
Having had surprise cameos since episode one, including one of H.O.T’s Tony, Reply 1997 has been creating a new kind of fun, allowing viewers to spot where the celebrity guests come out.
With only six more episodes remaining, viewers have their ears and eyes open to find out who the father of Sung Si Won is.
Reply 1997 airs two episodes on Tuesday nights on tvN.
