Racking up the red-carpet appearances and upping her fashion ante, Jennifer Lopez seems to have regained her fighting spirit of late. Since the divorce from ex-hubby Marc Anthony, we can’t help but notice that everywhere Grazia turn, Jennifer Lopez is there cracking out another revealing red carpet look. Hitting up Hollywood’s hottest events and promoting new movie Parker with co-star Jason Statham (yum!), we‘ve spotted the singer/actress in everything from barely there Zuhair Murad lace dresses to transparent paneled Kaufmanfranco designs (which she was more than happy to flaunt to the paparazzi). Could it be that the old J-lo is back with a vengeance?
You know the J-lo that worked THAT Versace dress to the 2000 Grammys, the J-lo who couldn’t get enough of plunging necklines, thigh high splits and exposing backless gowns. Yep, judging by her latest dress choices she’s definitely back. Perhaps on a rampage to defy the critics of People Magazine who said her cover shoot looked a little aged (Ahem we would be more than happy if we looked like Miss Lopez at the age of 43) Jennifer Lopez is happily embracing her signature curves.
Working two Zuhair Murad dresses at the Golden Globes (the designers other clientele include Kristen Stewart, Miranda Kerr and Blake Lively to name but a few) J-lo opted for a sheer nude dress with carefully placed white lace from the designer’s spring/summer 2013 collection, later changing into a figure hugging black plunging number with feather hem. Let’s compare past and present… revealing lace number? Check. Daring neckline? Check. Backless detailing? Check. Signature booty flattering pose? Check. The old J-lo is back with a more sophisticated edge, and we couldn’t be happier.
