REVEALED: How many and who attended Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma's wedding?

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma got married in a private ceremony in Tuscany, Italy.

Yesterday, social media went on an uproar as it was finally announced that Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma had tied the knot.

The couple who have been together for four years got married in a private ceremony yesterday in Borgo Finocchieto, a villa in Tuscany, Italy.

A joint statement was made by the newlyweds as they shared pictures on Twitter. They said, “Today we have promised each other to be bound in love forever. We are truly blessed to share this wonderful news with you. This beautiful day will be made more special with the love and support of our family of fans and well-wishers. Thank you for being such an important part of our journey.”

According to a leading tabloid, the close-knit ceremony was attended by only 44 guests. They included Virat’s mother Saroj and sister Bhavna, Anushka’s parents Ajay Kumar and Ashima and brother Karnesh. Also in attendance was Virat’s close friend Bunty Sajdeh.

Now, two receptions will be held in India. One will be on December 21 in Delhi which will be attended by the newlyweds’ close friends. And another in Mumbai on December 26 which will be attended by the cricketers and Bollywood celebrities.

“The Bollywood brigade is expected to be represented by Anushka’s former co-stars, Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, filmmaker Karan Johar, Katrina Kaif and Rani Mukerji, along with Mukesh and Nita Ambani,” a source informed the tabloid.
