The launch follows its first coworking space in Sudirman area.

The new coworking space provides an open space and nine private offices, which was already fully occupied by the time the new space is launched. It also offers facilities such as meeting rooms, a reading corner, Skype rooms, and a coffee bar.

The company purposely set up its coworking spaces in central business district (CBD) area in order to give ease of access to its members.

“Access and integration are what sets us apart,” said Rework CEO and Founder Vanessa Hendriadi.

Together with the opening of the new space, Rework also launched a mobile app to complement the coworking experience.

Available for Android and iOS devices, the mobile app allows users to book and access Rework office locations, access open member directory, content, and services. It is available for all users through the premium features will only be available for subscribing members.

“We believe that technology is a crucial part of everything that we are doing now, especially considering our target market, who are very high-tech people,” Hendriadi explained.

Rework also announced a partnership with lifestyle and hospitality group Ismaya to release a special edition Rework-Ismaya Lifestyle Card, which allows users to enjoy “a lifestyle in which work and play can go hand-in-hand.”

It also stated that soon the Rework app will be able to book workspaces in Ismaya locations across Indonesia.

Ismaya also helped Rework in designing the interior of the coworking space and providing the coffee bar service through its coffee shop chain Djournal.

Despite existing challenges in the market, new coworking spaces continue to be launched in Indonesia, such as GoWork in Central Jakarta and government-owned Jakarta Creative Hub.

In China, two of the biggest local players URWork and New Space has recently confirmed their merger, which has been rumored since one year ago.
