Rihanna and ASAP Rocky are dating, apparently
News broke last week that Rihanna had reportedly split from her boyfriend of nearly three years, Hassan Jameel. And though the singer hasn't publicly commented on the claims, there has been tonnes of speculation about the reason behind the breakup, and who she's been hanging out with since.
According to the latest report, Rihanna and rapper ASAP Rocky have been dating since her newfound single status, with a source telling The Sun it's early days but they're into it.
"They shared a hotel suite during that trip in New York," an insider said of their recent visit to NYC. "However, Rihanna is reluctant to put a label on it as it’s so soon after Hassan. [But] they’re really enjoying each other’s company and taking things easy as it’s still early days."
On whether Ri and ASAP have a future, the source added, "It’s really casual between them and she’s not thinking about whether there’s a future with Rocky. She’s a newly-single girl having fun.”
Currently neither party have done anything to confirm the rumours, but the long-term friends did attend the British Fashion Awards together in December. This isn't the first time Rihanna and ASAP Rocky have been linked, either - the pair were hit with dating rumours in 2013 when they were seen being affectionate in New York.
But he was quick to shut down the rumours in an interview with Distractify, commenting, "I don't even look at her like that. She's sexy, but I'm good."
Who knows, maybe he does now?
