KUALA LUMPUR: The man who was arrested for punching the windshield of a vehicle belonging to Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Wan Azizah in Jalan Tun Razak near the Intermark building has been ordered to pay RM1,000 fine.

Wangsa Maju district police chief Superintendent Noor Azmi Yusoff said the suspect paid the fine after being charged at the Magistrate Court in Court Complex in Jalan Duta here yesterday.

“He was charged at the court and wasn’t remanded. He paid the fine,” Noor Azmi said.

In the 3.30pm incident on Thursday, the vehicle was driven by DPM’s personal driver when it was involved in an accident with the suspect’s van.
