Robert Pattinson made himself laugh with his Devil All the Time accent
Robert Pattinson has confessed that his unique American accent in The Devil All the Time amused him during filming.
The actor, who's currently working on new DC movie The Batman, recently sat down with director Antonio Campos to reflect on his character Preston Teagardin – the priest with a dark side.

Via NetflixFilm's Twitter, Campos noted: "There were early takes where you'd say 'delusion' and then you would just crack up... I remember a lot of the process of working with you, you avoiding the dialect coach and then showing up very much in character..."
Laughing, Pattinson responded: "I was just wandering around the city, just kind of, just sort of learning the lines and then this... I don't know what it is, there's just something about some pronunciations that just really tickle me.
"And I was just kind of, I was just wandering around and then I'd say something and I was just recording things on my phone – kind of just making myself laugh."

The sound of Preston in general was pretty creepy, so Pattinson strolling around in public practising would have definitely been a sight to behold.
Elsewhere, the actor has suggested that he enjoys the idea of potentially 'messing up' the iconic role of Batman.
