The royal family shares new photos of the Queen horse riding in Windsor Home Park
The Queen has always had a great love of horses. A keen equestrian all her life, new photos taken in Windsor Home Park last weekend (30-31 May) show that, despite being 94, Her Majesty is still a confident rider.
The official Royal Family Instagram account shared the heartwarming pictures of the monarch out riding a stunning glossy pony named Fern, and even added a sweet horse emoji in the caption.
It reads: "🐴 The Queen is pictured riding Fern - a 14 year-old Fell Pony - in Windsor Home Park this weekend."

Sitting astride the magnificent creature, Her Majesty wore a tweed jacket and colourful pink headscarf for the weekend ride. Swipe along and the second, closer shot shows a big smile on her face.
But, beyond the pictures of this weekend, the account also shared some gorgeous throwback photos showing the beautiful relationship HRH Queen Elizabeth has had with horses over the years.
The caption continues: "Her Majesty has enjoyed riding since childhood and is closely involved with the welfare of the horses she owns for breeding, riding and racing."
It's a lifelong bond that's beautiful to see, and one that many members of the royal family share/
